I photographed Tatjana Jovanovic-Grove, a Serbian immigrant who now lives near Winston Salem, NC for a story about people who have given up looking for jobs in this economy after many fruitless attempts. She has a masters in biology but was still unable to find any work.

Tanja now spends her days making crafts to sell on the internet marketplace Etsy. She makes little money, but finds the work creatively fufilling
