In December of 2008 I photographed the deployment ceremony of Company D of the 1/252nd Combined Arms Battalion of the North Carolina National Guard, part of the 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team, as they got ready to head out to Iraq.
This past weekend they returned home to Sanford, NC. Welcome back.
