Spent a day wandering the uptown area of Charlotte, NC taking in a the new museum boom and other additions to the neighborhood. A few of my favorites:
New York Times [...] The historic Chatham County courthouse caught fire last night and is nearly a total loss. It was (is) the center of Pittsboro and its destruction could be a major blow to the economy of downtown. A real shame.

March 9, 2010. Raleigh, NC. A cast of Rodin’s “Thinker” is installed at the North Carolina Museum of Art. I love it when things come together. If you wait long enough, sometimes people do exactly what you would like, you just have to be ready for it.
