Mrs. Edwards died of breast cancer last week after a 6 year battle.

…and waiting and waiting. Bill Clinton likes to talk, and talk, so he is always late. Everyone seemed to think it was worth it though, once he arrived. We were 1.5 hours late to the second of 6 stops for the day in western North Carolina.
It is probably all said and done as far as his political career goes, but as I was looking through the old archives and found this photo, I was reminded of the energy surrounding the 2008 presidential campaigns and how perhaps this photograph foreshadowed the events to come in Edwards’ [...] Our new Vice President came to Ft. Bragg on Wednesday to welcome home the 18th Airborne Corps, who have been serving in Iraq for the last 15 months. This was the first time I have seen Biden in person, although I photographed all the other candidates last year. He was kinda funny, even mentioning, [...] Just a little preview of a story I shot last week on NC State Rep. Deborah Ross. I followed her around the State Legislature and to various off site meetings for 12 hours. She is truly a powerhouse in the House, never stopping the constant back and forth that goes along with the political game. [...] |
