Elizabeth Edwards for the New York Times

I spent a cold, rainy Saturday in Raleigh, NC at the funeral for Elizabeth Edwards, the former wife of presidential candidate John Edwards.

Mrs. Edwards died of breast cancer last week after a 6 year battle.

Bill Clinton likes to talk, and talk, so he is always late. Everyone seemed to think it was worth it though, once he arrived. We were 1.5 hours late to the second of 6 stops for the day in western North Carolina.
